Cricket coaching for youngsters is being offered at Horntye Park this summer. Hastings & St Leonards Priory Cricket Club is providing an ‘Annual Youth Coaching Week’, for 8-13 year-old boys and girls beginning Monday 31 July through to Friday 1 August. The training will take place at Horntye Sports Complex and at William Parker School.
Cricket coaches will include former Sussex County player Tim Booth-Jones and South Africans Tim van Noort and Will Hantam. The course runs from 9 to 12 each day and covers everything from games to fielding and batting skills, net practice and matches for all. The cost is a modest £30 for the week.
